No — ZEN does not cut hair. We are a grooming and head spa house devoted to treatments that put you in order and let you unwind: face shave, facial, ear cleaning, head spa and more.

A grooming and head spa produced by a Japanese hair salon, fusing the traditional craft of Vietnamese barbering with Japanese hospitality. On Sukhumvit Soi 20 in Bangkok, female therapists work through all eleven steps, from the crown of your head to your fingertips.

All eleven steps, beginning with a foot scrub: cleansing, face shave, face mask, ear cleaning, nail care, shoulder and back massage, shampoo, head spa, and finally a blow dry.

About nine in ten of our guests are men, but women are very welcome. We also offer a Ladies' course (90 min, 1,200 THB).

Welcome. For a first visit we recommend the Full Pack (90 min, 900 THB), which includes all eleven steps. Your therapist will walk you through the flow when you arrive.

The Full Pack takes about 90 minutes; Select (four treatments) about 60. Please allow plenty of time for your visit.

Of course. Most of our guests come alone. Please take your time.

Yes, travelers are always welcome. We work mainly in English and Thai, and our counseling sheets come in five languages: English, Japanese, Thai, Chinese and Korean.

Yes — a Ladies' course (90 min, 1,200 THB), a total course for women covering everything from a foot scrub and facial to a head spa and treatment.

Six options — premium face mask, face exfoliation, nose hair wax, hair growth program, hair repair treatment, and therapist selection — at +100 THB each. Sets are discounted: 2 for +180, 3 for +250, 4 for +320, 5 for +400 THB.

No. The price is your course plus any options you choose. Nothing unexpected is ever added.

Tipping is not required. If you have enjoyed your visit, a tip is appreciated but entirely at your discretion.

Reservations take priority. Booking online through Fresha is the surest way, but walk-ins are welcome when space allows.

There is one parking space in front of the shop. As space is limited, arriving by BTS or taxi is also convenient.

A steamed towel and shaving cream soften beard and fine hairs before we shave, and a fresh blade is used for every guest — so the edge is always sharp, keeping irritation to a minimum.

Yes. We work gently and always with a clear view, never forcing anything. If something feels off, we adjust right away.

It cleanses the scalp and works through the head's pressure points, easing heaviness and the fatigue behind the eyes. As the facial muscles connect to the scalp, it can even give the face a subtle lift. It is the heart of what we do.

A treatment handed down through Vietnamese barbershops, applied right after your shave. It cools, calms and hydrates freshly shaved skin. You can also upgrade to the optional Premium Face Mask (+100 THB — choose Hydrating, Pore Care or Soothing).

Yes. The Full Pack includes a shoulder and back massage — we loosen the stiffness before you move up to the spa floor.

Yes. Nails are trimmed and buffed to a natural sheen (no polish is applied), finishing your grooming down to the fingertips.

Of course. We take care to let you rest comfortably.

We do not offer full-body massage. Massage centers on the shoulders and back; the feet are lightly eased during the foot scrub, and the face is cared for in the facial.

Blades are single-use and disposed of after every guest, and tools are disinfected each time. We keep the space clean and bright.

Yes, our therapists are female professionals. You may request a specific therapist (+100 THB).

Yes. Our products are selected under the supervision of Japanese hair stylists to be gentle on the skin. We check your skin's condition before the treatment and adjust, so please tell us anything on your mind.

Yes. Please ask us about the products we use before your treatment; we will adjust wherever possible.

Mainly the Japanese haircare brand pjoli, alongside professional salon-only products from Japanese brands including Milbon — all carefully selected to be gentle on scalp and skin.

A little (our main working languages are English and Thai). We have a Japanese counseling sheet, so you can share your preferences in detail before the treatment.

Yes, English is no problem.

Thai is no problem. We can manage some Chinese. We currently have no Korean-speaking staff, but a Korean counseling sheet is available, so you can still tell us exactly what you would like.

Before your treatment, a counseling sheet in five languages — English, Japanese, Thai, Chinese and Korean — lets you mark your preferred massage pressure and any concerns, and your therapist works from what you have written.

Yes, they are welcome to wait on the sofa at reception. As this may depend on the situation, please check with us ahead of time to be sure.

Very welcome. Seats are limited, so we recommend booking ahead when coming together.

Come as you are — no need to bring anything. We provide a change of clothes for the treatment.

Every guest has a personal locker with a key. There is a restroom and also a shower — convenient if you would like to be freshened up before heading to the airport.

Yes. We finish with a blow dry, and styling products such as wax and gel are available — so you can set your hair and head straight out.
